A little closer, a little better

What’s new
with Clara.

New ways to talk. Small things that make a difference. And a few notes from the person building Clara.

Memory & call controls

Your memory.
A little closer.

A small Memory control now stays within reach, before and during your conversation.

Saved notes are available in eligible beta and owner sessions. Public trials clearly show that memory is off.

  • See what Clara remembers.

Check whether browser memory is on or off and review your saved notes without leaving the call. Turning memory on or off, deleting notes, and clearing memory wait until the call ends. Changes apply to your next conversation.

  • Less interface. More conversation.

Cleaner Talk / Type controls, a slim message field, and a little more breathing room. Help and feedback remain close by.

Owner pilot · testing

Work in progress

Memory that can
come with you.

We’re testing encrypted memory sync across devices, with a recovery key you control.

This is an owner-only pilot, not a feature available to customers yet. Standard beta memory remains browser-local.

The pilot encrypts saved notes in the browser before uploading them. Recovery uses your key or approval from an already-unlocked device. This first version needs a separate memory tab kept open while syncing.

Encrypted sync protects stored sync copies. During hosted calls, selected notes are decrypted in your browser and sent to Clara for processing. This is not a promise of zero server-side processing or zero conversation logs.

Product update

Talk or type.
Same conversation.

Some things are easier to say. Others are easier to write. Now you can do either, and switch whenever you like.

Available in the free trial and beta.

TalkSay it out loud.
TypePut it into words.
Switch any time in the same call. No need to start over.
  • Type without your microphone.

Choose Type and your microphone stops. Write what’s on your mind; Clara still replies with voice and captions. Switch back to Talk when you feel like speaking.

  • A little more control.

Mute when you need a moment. See when Clara is listening, thinking, or speaking—and get a clear notice if your microphone or audio needs attention.

  • A better way back.Paid calls

If your connection briefly drops, your call can reconnect to the same conversation. If it can’t recover, you’ll see how to start again.

This covers short connection interruptions, not refreshing or closing the page.
