Trial terms

A few ground rules.

Last updated September 7, 2026

Clara is an experimental AI voice companion. These terms govern the landing page and guest trial. By choosing to use the trial, you agree to these terms.

Clara is operated by Signal Market Intelligence Incorporated.

Who can use Clara

You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. If you have not reached the age of majority, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms and supervise your use. Do not use the service where doing so would be unlawful.

Using the trial

The current trial offers approximately sixty seconds with Clara, with one caller at a time and up to three trials per internet address in a rolling 24-hour window. Shared connections may share that limit. Capacity, technical problems, and availability can affect access.

You need an internet connection, a microphone, and permission to use that microphone. Use the service only with audio you are entitled to share.

Clara is an AI

Clara’s voice is synthetic. Her responses can be inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete. She is not a person, a therapist, or an emergency service. Do not rely on her for professional medical, legal, or financial decisions. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

Respect the service and other people

Do not use Clara for unlawful activity, to threaten or exploit others, or to share someone else’s private information without permission. Do not bypass trial limits, attempt unauthorized access, or intentionally interfere with the service.

Privacy

The trial processes microphone audio and conversation text on hosted infrastructure. Long-term conversation memory is off for guest trials. Read the Privacy policy for the distinction between conversation memory and technical records.

Availability and beta access

The trial may be changed, paused, or withdrawn. Trying Clara does not guarantee a beta invitation, a local version, saved memory, or any particular release date. No payment is required for this trial. Any future paid offering will have its own clearly presented terms.

Optional support

You may choose to make a one-time contribution toward Clara’s operating costs through Stripe. The amount and currency are shown before payment. Support is optional and does not purchase beta access, additional call time, a subscription or other benefits. For payment questions or refund requests, email hello@talkclara.com. Your applicable statutory rights are unaffected.

Content and permitted use

You retain any rights you have in content you provide. You permit us to process it as needed to provide the trial, subject to our Privacy policy. Access to the trial does not transfer ownership of Clara’s software, branding or voice assets. Do not misrepresent generated speech as a recording of a real person.

Service changes and access

We may restrict access to protect the service or other users, or address breaches of these terms. You can stop using Clara at any time. Material changes to these terms will be identified on the site; changes will not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about these terms can be raised through Contact.
